Russell Odgers

Personal Training for 3 years with 2 ½ of those in the CrossFit methodology. Have played sports my whole life, 15 years of Rugby League, 5 years of Cricket, 3 years of Soccer and have tried my hand at just about every other sport imaginable.

"Since the day I found CrossFit it has been what I've dedicated my life to. It has become my passion and if I'm not at the gym coaching or training ill be watching CrossFit related videos. It has helped my own health immensely and I have seen and used it to help many others reach their health and fitness goals."

First Crossfit Workout

My first 6 months was in my parents backyard with bent and rusty barbells and a medicine ball made of an old basketball filled with sand. I think my first crossfit workout would have been Fran or Cindy.

Jay Storey

Jay is a NSW firefighter and an ex army paratrooper who served in Afghanistan. He learnt in the army the importance of functional fitness and wanted to maintain this when he discharged from the defence force. A friend introduced him to CrossFit shortly after leaving the army and he quickly became addicted.

"I have been passionate about health and fitness for a long time and tried a lot of different training programs over the years. Once I discovered CrossFit I realized I had found the way I was going to train for the rest of my life.

It's hard but fun and the CrossFit prescription of constantly varied, high intensity, functional movements keeps you interested, motivated and most importantly gets results. I want to help others improve their lives and achieve incredible results on their CrossFit Journey."

Katherine (Kiff) Odgers

Personal Trainer and CrossFit Coach since 2015. Have played some sort of team sport (at school or on the weekend) since the age of 5 including 17 years of netball, 10 years of cross country and 2 years of OzTag.

"It only took me two sessions before I was hooked on CrossFit. I've always been pretty active but I was never a regular gym goer until I started CrossFit in 2013. I enjoy the CrossFit process of trying to better yourself each day.

I like setting goals and working towards reaching them, Most importantly, I like watching my clients and the gym members set goals and work towards reaching them. I love the friendly and supportive community that has been created not just at CrossFit Narellan but CrossFit gyms all over the world."

Josh Van Der Meulen

Growing up Josh always loved sports and anything outdoors, This led him to play and try every possible sport and activity. He is currently studying his final year of a bachelor of sport and exercise science.

"From as young as I can remember I always wanted to go to the gym and couldn't wait until I was finally old enough to start training. I've been training in various strength and condition techniques for nearly 10 years and over the past 4 years I've discovered CrossFit and tried to learn everything there is to know about it. This is where my passion and desire to learn everything possible about the health and fitness industry has grown."

Ben Fuller

Ben leads a healthy and active lifestyle and encourages others to do the same. He has played a number of team sports for many years including soccer, rugby and cricket and attended a traditional gym before discovering CrossFit.

He is now in his fourth year of training with the Crossfit methodology. He loves the social aspect of sport and takes particular pleasure in helping others achieve their goals.

"Since a young age, I've always enjoyed the social aspect of playing team sports. Whilst Crossfit isn't a team sport I love there is a real focus on community. There is such a diverse range of people exercising together to improve their fitness. I take particular enjoyment helping others work toward and achieve their goals. Jamilla Russell

Jamilla began training at the age of 16 with the CrossFit methodology. She immediately fell in love with CrossFit and after two years decided to become a coach herself.

"I left school in 2015 and completed my certificate III in fitness. In this very same year I found CrossFit Narellan, and prior to this I had never really enjoyed or participated in many sports or exercise, but with CFN, I fell in love. It wasn't until finding the CrossFit methodology that I really found a passion to exercise and to coach. Now with any chance I get I'm at the gym pushing myself or helping others reach their goals."
